I was staying at Zolo Hibsiscus, Bangalore for a week and the place was unhygienic and unsanitary.
1. The water didn’t work half the time
2. There was zero cleanliness in the kitchen, the bathrooms and the room.
3. The water from the sink leaks onto the floor
4. The bed was filled with dust and insects inspite of them handing the room to me after doing pest control and housekeeping. And the pillow was so dirty and smelled horrible.
5. The place constantly smelled of cigarettes even though cigarettes are banned.
6. The dustbins were not cleaned for days.
7. The lift smelled of sweat, rotten eggs.
8. There was no lock on my cupboard inspite of repeatedly telling the caretaker and raising a ticket for days together.
9. There was dust and spider webs everywhere. On wires, inside the cupboards, on the window etc.
10. I’ve fallen sick and have rashes on my skin because of all this.
I’m attaching pictures and videos of the same and I want my deposit back. I was offered amenities like regular sanitation and the caretaker showed me a very hygienic room on video call which is why I considered living in a Zolo in the first place. I even mentioned to the caretaker that I’m allergic to dust and to allot a room without dust to me.
When I called customer care, I was told to attach pictures with the ticket but your app doesn’t even have that option. The owner Vikram also didn’t bother showing up when the caretaker wasn’t listening inspite of repeatedly asking him to come resolve the issue.
