Me and my mother started our own website – Royal Spares as we had goodwill in the industry with our more than a decade of service and good quality products. Everything was shifted to my mother’s name from my father’s who suffered a brain stroke and got half paralysed. They started it all together. And now, shopify, which is a platform to make website on like wordpress, wix, bigcommerce, etc. Has shut down our site without any notice. I am in contact with their customer support team and they are giving no reason for their decision due to security of their investigation. I am just requesting them to give me access to my admin for a few hours so that I can take my data which I don’t have a backup for and it’s my years of hardwork and has more than 50, 000 SKU’s of different products. They are telling me we won’t allow after a decision is made and it is final. I told them that there is nothing mentioned in their terms which states that I won’t be allowed my intellectual property. It is me and my mom’s years of slepless nights and hardwork which we put to build this one site. It is just another website for them but for us as small business owners it is our life. It is our bread and butter. I don’t mind doing the hardwork again building another site xoming back stronger, but I just need my data. I just need what’s mine. One person sitting behind a screen is just taking a decision which doesn’t mean anything to them and it is costing us our everything here.
