1, . We have a Eureka Forbes SUPERB Aqua Guard installed in our house since last 2 years . On expiry of 2 years services contract, we received a call from Ms Chandana of Sureka Forbes Pvt Ltd on 11 Oct 22 early morning saying that, our Eureka Forbes Aqua Guard free services expired on 03 Oct 22 and they would send a technician to replace all filters and renew the contract for another two years on behalf of Eureka Forbes Ltd as they are working for them as outsourced company. Since they shared all our product details and our home address correctly, we believed that they are genuine service providers and asked them to come. The same day at about 12.30Pm One technician namely Rakesh came and replaced filters taken out from one Eureka Forbes Ltd branded package. On completion he asked us to pay bill amount of Rs 9699 and he said bill invoice would be sent in message and mail by EOD . On making payment we also received the message on our phone confirming about the credit of the bill amount from Sureka Forbes . Since we did not get bill invoice receipt from Sureka Forbes/Eureka Forbes on the same day and even next day, we called Eureka Forbes Ltd on 13 Oct 22 enquiring about the Invoice for renewal of contract for further 2 years. When we informed them that Sureka Forbes has done the needful on your behalf surprisingly they said that they do not have any outsourced contract with Sureka Forbes Pvt Ltd for this purpose in Bangalore. They said that they would do the services directly . However having been cheated, we requested Eureka Forbes to come and see what have been replaced are of Eureka Forbes products or not.
Same day one technician from Eureka Forbes came and on opening the Aqua Gaurd, he confirmed that Sureka Forbes has changed only two out of three filters ie HD filter Cartridge & Membrane RO filter and both filters are of Sureka Forbes Pvt Ltd which are of inferior quality. He also checked the specific gravity (SG) of water which measured 250 and water was tasting like bore water. He also said Eureka Forbes Filters give 120 SG and water comes out sweet.
Despite many reminders on phone no invoice has been sent by Sureka Forbes Pvt Ltd till date and are also unwilling to share their company office address and also their managers name and contact numbers.
Conclusions :
1. It is evident that Sureka Forbes Pvt Ltd is a fraud company with dubious and inferior cheap products and are targeting the customers of branded companies water purifiers and are cheating them during the service renewal periods,
2. It appears that they have managed the Customer data base of Eureka Forbes Pvt Ltd probably through unauthorized fraudulent means.
3. It also appears that they have employed fly by staff with multiple telephone number to connect with potential Eureka Forbes customers for trapping and duping them during their service renewal perods sharing all correct details of the product and on convincing fitting their cheap/inferior Sureka products/filters in disguise of branded Eureka products as a Pseudo service provider
Request to take appropriate immediate action against this fraudster Sureka Forbes Pvt Ltd company operating in Bangalore to prevent more innocent customers falling prey to their fraudulent services and also impact their good health badly using improperly filtered water through their very inferior cheap quality products and charging the same amounts of Eureka Forbes Pvt Ltd
